Our Story

Founded in 1981, Nissan Electronics Limited (now Nissan Enterprises Limited) has pioneered the Consumer Electronics space for 30 years now. Spearheaded by our visionary Director, Hemang N Budhdeo, Nissan Electronics started off as an OEM manufacturer for the then Top CE Brands; responsible for manufacturing Radios for Bush India

Progressing into the 90s, Nissan was the principle OEM Manufacturer for Top CE Brands such as Phillips, TCL, Thomson, Onida and BPL. From personal walkmans in the 90s, to CRT TVs in the 00s, Nissan was in the forefront of Consumer Electronics ecosystem in India. 

Jiten N Budhdeo, our Director, started his Distribution business of distributing a reputed personal care brand in 2000 for Mumbai. The Distribution business slowly progressed into a big Distribution House, distributing large white goods appliances such as TVs, Refrigerators, Washing Machines for Samsung and LG, the stalwarts of the segment.

In 2006, Nissan Enterprises entered into an unknown territory of Smartphone Accessories - tieing up with various international brands who were manufacturing accessories for the previous generation of smartphones - O2 Palmpilot, Blackberry etc.

With the launch of iPhone 3 in 2009, the Accessory business exploded, and our Directors Hemang and Jiten who had already shifted their full focus onto this growing business, they pioneered the organised accessory space with brands such as Capdase (HK), Griffin (USA), Golla (Finland) and iWalk (Korea). By 2011, Nissan Enterprises Limited was a National Player featuring about 35 distributors pan-India under them distributing quality smartphone accessories to almost 2000+ retail touch points across the Country. With advent of Modern Trade chains starting in India, there was a push to feature quality tech accessories.

Combining the OEM knowledge and Distribution experience, Nissan launched its own brand Stuffcool in 2014. Stuffcool was launched purely to make quality accessories that enhance, enrich our consumers' lives - without breaking the bank. Stuffcool launched with 6 categories featuring Cases, Screen Protectors, Cables, Chargers, Car Mounts (Enhancements) and Sleeves. Today, Stuffcool is retailed via 52 distributors from Jammu to Kerala, from Kutch to Guwahati, through its network of 3000+ retail stores. Stuffcool also works with national and regional Large Format Retail such has Tata Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, Bajaj Electronics, iVenus and many more. 

Stuffcool has been developing many firsts in the tech accessory space
